  3. I am the author with food allergies who wrote you months ago to thank you for your blog and to tell you about my youtube video about how our American breads have the highest gluten levels in the world. I have a passion for baking and have made another video that might interest you, called Having My Cake and Eating It Too. In it I show how to make a delicious dairy-and-wheat-free Baked Alaska dessert, which even my friends without food allergies beg me to make.

  4. Hello,

I enjoy your blog and I thank you for helping those of us with gluten and other food sensitivities. Having food allergies can be tough, but I’ve learned that support and education like your blog can make a huge difference.

You might be interested in my youtube video about what I’ve discovered about how American breads tend to have the highest gluten levels in the world, as well as other reasons that can make our breads less digestible. I am an American author with food allergies and a chemical-related illness, who divides her time between the US and France.

  5. Gluten Free, Corn Free Tortilla Chips
    Hi Amy,

Snacking just got a whole lot healthier around the US with the just announced nationwide availability of brand new Beanfields chips.

Made from wholesome beans and rice, Beanfields are corn free, gluten free, and nonGMO. Plus they deliver 4 grams of complete protein and 4 grams of fiber in every ounce. The healthier snacking trend is great news for parents, kids, and those trying to eat better.

    Most important: Beanfields taste great!

Can I send you the press release that includes the news? And, would you like to receive some bags of Beanfields to try for yourself?

    Thank you,

    Bridget

  6. Hi Ginger,

I work for the company that produces Mutual of Omaha’s “Aha Moment” campaign; visit http://www.mutualofomaha.com/aha to see what an aha moment is and the incredible stories we’ve filmed over the last two years. As I came across your website, I couldn’t help but think that you might have an aha moment to share.

We’re taking our 34-foot Airstream mobile film studio to 25 cities to capture inspirational, life-changing aha moments from folks all over the country. We are headed to Lansing, MI on July 18th and 19th, and would love to invite you to share an aha moment! You would just have to step into the Airstream studio for a few minutes and tell your story on film to our tour manager. Your video will then be posted to http://www.mutualofomaha.com/aha, where you will be able to share it with your friends and family via email, Facebook and Twitter!

For the second year in a row, our tour manager is Jessica Henry. Hailing from Athens, GA, Jessica is an outdoor enthusiast and self-proclaimed “foodie” who enjoys talking about powerful life moments with people just like you all over the country. You can read Jessica’s bio (and meet the rest of the crew) at http://www.ahamoment.com/tour/about

We will be parked at Eastwood Towne Center at 3003 Preyde Boulevard, north of J. Crew and Victoria’s Secret, on July 18th and 19th from 11am to 7pm.

Let me know as soon as possible and I can reserve some time for you.

    Many thanks!

  7. Hi Ginger,

I’m working with a friend (who is a celiac) and we recently developed and launched a new gluten-free bar called, well, The Gluten Free Bar. What sets our bar apart is it that it while it is gluten/dairy free we’ve worked very hard to make our bar taste *amazing* and be high in protein. The end result is a nutrition bar that is healthy and filling yet meets the dietary restrictions of those who eat gluten-free by necessity or choice.

You can see our site at theglutenfreebar.com.

If you’re interested, I’d love to send you some of of our new Gluten Free Bars for you to give an honest review on your site. Also, if you do decide to post a review we could do a product give-away to your readers. I’d be happy to send out a sample pack to your first two commenters.

    Please let me know!

    All the best,
    Mitchella Gilbert

  8. Hey just wanted to know how are you making the AdHoc s fried chicken glutenfree? My niece always made it and I had to abstain. She used to work at Ad hoc for a while. would appreciate your recipe so I could surprise her with it someday… thanks

    • We used the recipe from the cookbook which we had from the library for a while. All we did was swap out wheat flour for gluten free flour I think. I do remember it being pretty tasty, but a lot of work.

  9. Hi Ginger!

I just wanted to let you know about an upcoming event in Corvallis, Oregon. The Gluten Free RN will be hosting the Northwest Gluten Free Summit on November 5th and 6th. We have a great line up of speakers that you can see under “agenda” on our website. Plus, since you like to travel, Corvallis is a great getaway place. Especially for the gluten free foodie! The Willamette Valley is home to fresh fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, pork and lamb, plus fresh sea food! Not to mention the many wineries in the area. Registration for our Summit is now open, so check it out and share with your readers if it is something that might interest you.

Thank you Ginger, keep sharing your recipes!

    Katy

  10. Hi Amy,

Van’s Natural Foods, a longtime favorite for gluten-free frozen waffles and French toast sticks, has introduced a new look in its packaging. We love the new boxes and the beautiful photos; we just want to make sure all of our fans know that it’s only the outside that has changed.

Gluten-free eaters are incredibly wary of anything indicating a possible product change, with very good reason. We want to reassure Van’s fans that our gluten-free foods are exactly as delicious, healthy and gluten and wheat free as ever. Just in a prettier package.

We can provide a photo of the new packaging if you like. Would you be interested in offering coupons to your readers in order to introduce the new product look?

We’re also happy to answer any questions from you or your readers. Feel free to email or call me at any time.

    Thanks!

  11. I want to subscribe to your blog but cant figure out how.
